Slab Piers

Slab Piers

The Foundation Supportworks PP288 Slab Pier system is used to stabilize and lift settled concrete floor systems. 8-inch holes are cored through the slab, steel brackets are placed beneath the slab, and hollow steel tubes are hydraulically advanced down to suitable load bearing strata. Hydraulic cylinders are then attached to each pier and pressure is applied to either stabilize or lift the slab back into position. If needed, voids beneath the slab are filled with a grout mixture or PolyLevel® polyurethane foam.
